Citroen (Relay) Jumper debuted in 1994.
These vans have framed chassis and front layout of a transverse power unit.
In addition, these all-metal cargo and passenger vans of different sizes are manufactured with loading platform and chassis cab of 3 or 6-seat variants or without a cabin.
Since 1996, the company began to produce the all-wheel drive model.
In 2002, the large Jumper family has been modernized: were installed new engines (fully conform to environmental standards Euro 3). A measurable rework was made in the appearance of the body: the new lights (modern headlamps with clear lenses and dual vents, integrated fog lamps). The original false radiator grille gave the car dynamic and expressive look.
The interior was just freshened. Were installed comfortable seats of a new form, steering wheel became smaller. The interior has got a new instrument panel: ergonomic, made of quality materials.
The list of standard and optional equipment was also expanded.
Much attention was paid to the driver’s comfort. Inside the cabin is more like the passenger car than a delivery van. Soft contours of the instrument panel, high quality plastic, \"plump\" rim of the steering wheel and gearshift lever of a \"joystick\" type - these all is associated with nice, comfortable, high-speed, cost-effective passenger pickups.
On the panel, right in the center, there is the original shelf with paper clips. There are also a lot of glove compartments and other places for storing of small and big things. In various versions, by the way, the number and amount of storage compartments is different.
Wide doorway makes easy the boarding.
The range of engines consists of three turbo diesel engines of 2 l/86 hp, 2.2 l/100 hp and 2.8 l/127 hp.
All three units have intermediate air-cooling and Common Rail direct injection. For the European market there is also a petrol engine of 2.0 l/110 hp.
Jumper vans are marked as \"29\", \"33\" and \"35\", which corresponds to their full weight - from 2.9 to 3.5 tons. The vans are available with low, medium and high roof, and with four different wheelbases: 2850, 3200, 3700 and 4050 mm.
There is also the intermediate cargo version with additional removable seats for 3-9 people, flatbed trucks with all-metal platform, a short three-or double cabin for 6-7 people.
