Geo Storm is compact sport car that was manufactured by Isuzu. Storm replaced Geo Spectrum and was positioned in the market as an inexpensive sporty dynamic car.

Geo Storm, in fact, was a second-generation version of reworked Isuzu Impulse model, differing from it with the lack some expensive options, such as a suspension, turbocharging and all-wheel drive transmission.

Storm was sold in Japan under the name Isuzu PA Nero, Isuzu Impulse and Isuzu Gemini Coupe.

The most common version of the car was a 3-door hatchback. In 1990 and 1991, the hatchback was available in two trimming variants, but all models were equipped with standard front disc and rear drum brakes and front suspension mounted on the stabilizer bar. Geo Storm hatchback wagon of 1990 year could reach 174 km / h. Geo Storm GSi (1990) developed the speed up to 210 km / h.

The base model was equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 95 hp (Compression ratio 9,1:1). The more powerful version of GSi in 1990-1991 were completed with 1.6-liter gasoline engine, which developed the power of 130 hp and had a compression ratio 9,8:1.

In 1991 and 1992, the customers were offered a 3-door station wagon, called wagonback. The wagon was sold as a hatchback and sedan was positioned as a true coupe.

The dynamic characteristics of the model were quite impressive for an inexpensive compact car.

In 1992 the car had got new halogen lights instead of the traditional design of the lifting, updated tail lights, new front bumper and fenders. Changes were made to the instrument panel and graphic scale devices. Equipment of GSi included a new spoiler and a 1.8-liter gasoline engine more power (the increase was 10 hp).

In 1933, the production of the wagon was stopped. The other modifications received a radio format 2 DIN on the central console. Maximum engine power output of the basic set decreased from 95 to 90 hp.

The model was discontinued in 1993.
